Although she “can’t talk about it yet”, she is clearly excited about the next album. She keeps trying to tell me things about it, then claps her hands over her mouth, going, “I can’t!
“But everyone’s going to f***ing know about it when it comes out,” she says, excitedly. “You know when people say, ‘If you could say one sentence about who you are, what your life is?’ It’s that. For the whole album. Because I recently had this… miracle-like experience, where I feel much more connected to God.”

Can she follow up her success? Hell Yeah, Katy Perry is an amazing artist and writer. She is so edgy and is not afraid to push the envelope. Artists like that are the ones are the ones that never lose their steam.

Right now, I do not have a concrete date to give you all for the full album, but I will definitely have singles released in the coming months. To be honest, as so much content was released (leaked), I took it upon myself to record new things so that I wouldn’t be releasing an entire album of leaked records.
I definitely have a single [picked] but I won’t cut myself off until the label says that I need to be done.
I love creating what some consider pop records, I love creating what some consider r&b records and I will continue to do both. I don’t see myself falling into one category or another. These days everything has crossed over so much that you can’t really put yourself into a specific category. Pop, r&b, country, rock, hip hop… A single radio station might play all of that within an hour.
